February Newsletter

Welcome to the February Newsletter. It was great to see everyone at our last workshop after the Christmas break. Everyone looked refreshed and were keen to get into the first card making workshop for 2010.

A very big THANK YOU to Elsona, who treated us to some very yummy cupcakes!!!!! While she indicated they had come from the wrong cupcake shop and weren’t as nice “as the other shops” I didn’t hear anyone complaining. I have to admit, I am some what thankful for the mistake as Elsona has promised to bring the right ones this month…YUM!!!!

Congratulations to Jodie who won the raffle and as a result got to dig in my goody bag for her prize. This was the first time that Jodie had won the raffle and very fitting as she had announced it was her new years resolution to win!!!! Guess you’ll have to think of a new one now.

For those of you who were unable to make the workshop we made the “Romance Cards” using newly released products from Kaszazz.

Don’t panic if you do not have any or all of these things as I will have tools with me on the night. It’ll just help for things to run smoothly if we have some extra bits and pieces to share. Please make sure that all of your items are clearly marked with your name so that everything goes home with you at the end of the night.

August card swap

The idea for the theme for August's card swap was to make a card for men. It always seems difficult to make cards for the men in our lives, but the participants in this month's challenge did really well!

July card swap

The theme for July's card swap was Christmas in July, and once again there were some truly inspiring card designs submitted!
