Welcome to 2009!

Welcome to an exciting new year of papercrafting at Jamieson Way Community Centre, and welcome to our new blog! What we are hoping is that this website will become your one stop site for anything you want to know about the card making/scrapbooking sessions including the dates, details of any new products and customer specials.

Following on from the success of the monthly Card Making challenges last year, we are looking to continue with some exciting new challenges in the months ahead, and not only will you be able to check out what the new challenges are, you will also be able to see the finished products from the challenge posted here as well.

Our first event of the year will be the New Product Launch which is being held on 30 January, commencing at 7.30pm. This will be an opportunity for you to see and purchase some of the new products and creative ideas of how to use them. We are particularly excited by the new Primary Paper range, the new stamp range which features lots of active kids, and some very versatile 3 step stamps. We are sure you will be inspired by these new products.

There will be a huge display of new products, FREE New Product Flier per person, Catalogues available to purchase, 10% off all orders over $60 placed on the night, 2009 Workshop samples and further details about Cardmaking workshops, and other plans and timetables for 2009. FREE gift for anyone that brings along a friend who has not been before, as well as a raffle and other great opportunities. I will also have a range of discontinued products available for sale so bring along your extra change. (Discounted items must be cash only!)

Have your friends been impressed by the cards you have made? Do you think that they might be interested in coming along but they aren't sure about coming to the workshops? How about about hosting a demo? There are some exciting new projects for different levels of experience and benefits for being a hostess, including 10 percent off your own purchases at a party. For more details on the different types of demonstrations, please click here.

What we would ask is that you take a moment to subscribe to the blog, so that every time we update with new content, you will automatically receive an email from us.

Previous Tips of the Month

Have you missed the previous Tip of the Month? Never fear, we will have them all here for you!

  • When using the Kaszazz double sided tape, you can tear it rather than cutting it. This will save time and ensure that you can get you projects completed quicker

  • Always store your ink pads upside down. This will ensure the ink remains at the top of the pad ready for when you next stamp.
