April Card Making Class details

March Workshop

A very BIG thank you to everyone who came to the March workshop. It was great to see everyone chatting and enjoying making their cards. We also welcomed two workshop “virgins”! For those who weren't able to attend we made these "5 projects quick" all boys cards .

Congratulations to Karolynne who won the door prize. We also had a sneak peak at the new products flyer. I will have flyers available at the next workshop.

Birthday Girls!

A very happy birthday to those who celebrated their special day this month. You know who you are! We hope you enjoyed your day and were treated like a princess!

April Class details

The next workshop will be held at Jamieson Way Community Centre on Friday the 17th of April from 7.30 to 11pm. The class will start at 8pm and run for approximately 2 hours. This month we will be making these “daisy bling cards”, using embellishments and folding techniques. Perfect for Mother’s Day.

Please note that the cost for this workshop will be $25 and you will need to email me by no later than Thursday 9 April so I can order enough stock to prepare your kit.

Kaszazz Conference

Kym and I attended the Kaszazz conference on the weekend of the 14th & 15th of March. We had a great time and I have to say, I am very excited by the new product range that has just been released. We were able to sample some of the new products and made the Bella Friendship Album and the Whimsical Love – page and pocket 12x12 layout, both new two hour workshops. I will have the layouts at the next workshop for you to look out if you haven't already seen it!

The theme for the conference was Hollywood glitz and glamour and on the Saturday night we were able to enjoy a great dinner, where there we many “Marilyns” present!!! It was a great opportunity to put names and faces together and meet some of the people who have created the workshops that I enjoy teaching.

Card Swap

At our last workshop, I announced the theme for our next card swap, being Autumn.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to participate in the swap. We have had 8 volunteers to participate in the swap. This means that you will need to make 8 cards of your design. Remember to put your name on the back, so we can admire your work.

We will be sure to post pictures so you can see everyone's designs on the blog as well.

What is Card Swap? You can find all the details here! Why not have a go next month?

Hope you take some time for some rest and relaxation this week to rejuvenate those creative juices. Wishing you all a happy and safe Easter.
