A card swap is when you enter a selected challenge that is offered by the host. Each person who is entered in the challenge comes up with a card design that fits the challenge criteria. Multiple copies of your design are made by you equivalent to the amount of members in the group. Your entries are then submitted to the host who will collate the cards and send them out to all the participants in the challenge.
So if there are 8 members in the challenge you would need to make 1 design by 8 and send them in. In return you will receive 8 different cards back, all meeting the specified criteria. The aim is to share ideas, techniques and to build your collection of samples to help you with you own card making. There is no level of experience required as we are all learning and have different areas of expertise, and there is NO COPYRIGHT!!!
Only submit ideas that you are happy to share with others, and you will need to include your name and a brief list of the products/techniques you have used, so that others can replicate the designs. With each challenge there is an unspoken expectation that all reasonable effort will be taken by each contributor. Please don’t feel that you MUST take part if your heart’s not in it!!!

What to bring
Our workshops run at at Jamieson Way Community Centre from 7.30 to 11pm. The class will start at 8pm and run for approximately 2 hours.
For those of you who have not done any card making before, we will take you through the basics and show you step by step how easy it can be!!!
The cost of these workshops are generally $20 and will include all materials, a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, nibblies and tea & coffee, throughout the evening, as well as a Lucky Door prize, which will be drawn on the night. If the workshop will cost any more than that, then we will let you know.
What to bring
Trimmer
Scissors
Ruler
Eraser
Pencil
Super Tape
Magic Mount
Don’t panic if you do not have any or all of these things as I will have tools with me on the night. It’ll just help for things to run smoothly if we have some extra bits and pieces to share. Please make sure that all of your items are clearly marked with your name so that everything goes home with you at the end of the night.
Kaszazz orders can be placed on the night, with an extra 10% to spend on extra goodies if you spend more than $60.
